ABOUT US – About Our Club

Henley Netball club was founded almost forty years ago. Over the years, Henley have produced numerous players who have represented their country (England, Wales and Scotland) at both junior and senior level. More recently some of our younger players have been selected to go to the England camp, something they, and the club, are really proud of. Hopefully this will lead to them playing for their country – something we all dream about.

Henley has always been very well represented at county level, with players involved in the senior first and second squads under 18’s, under 16’s and development squads.
With this in mind, if you keep showing the enthusiasm, commitment and working hard you too could represent your county and you never know, in time your country.

Since the setting up of the new Henley junior section, you have all worked hard and showed courage and determination, even though at times you were playing against teams a lot older and bigger than yourselves. Keep it up – it will pay dividends in the end.

Just one final thing, always remember Netball is a sport to be enjoyed, go out and play hard but most importantly – enjoy it.
